1. Who we are

Safqat.ai provides software for AI-assisted customer conversations on WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website, dashboard, and related services.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, organization details, and billing-related information when you subscribe.

Service data: configuration you provide (products, knowledge, prompts, calendar connections), message metadata, conversation content processed to operate the AI assistant, and technical logs (IP address, device/browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data unless you choose to include them in your content; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the service.

3. How we use data

We use data to provide and improve the service, authenticate users, prevent abuse, analyze usage in aggregate, comply with law, and communicate about the product (including service notices and, where allowed, marketing you can opt out of).

AI features process conversation and knowledge content to generate replies. We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect data in line with industry practice.

4. Legal bases and sharing

Where GDPR applies, we rely on contract (delivering the service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement balanced against your rights), and consent when required.

We share data with subprocessors that host infrastructure, send email, process payments, or provide messaging channels (such as Meta/WhatsApp) strictly as needed to operate the service. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.

Retention periods may vary by data type; you may request deletion as described on our Data deletion page, subject to legal exceptions.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
